Making a good messenger bag is a quite difficult job. You wear it during the whole day, it must hold and carry everything, it needs to be big, but easy-handled, and comfortable. To meet these requirements, it needs to be sewn from the best materials.

Outer layer:

Cordura® – the classic, tough bag material. Quite comfortable to wear, UV and tear resistant, water repellent, impregnated. We have a lot of colours available.

Inner layer:

in order to be totally waterproof, the inner layer of our messenger bags is made out of truck tarpaulin. This is a 100% waterproof material.

We stock the truck tarp in two different types – there is a lighter weight (350 gr/m²) for the smaller bags inner layer, and the tougher one is 650 gr/m², for the bigger bags.

Straps:

We make the messenger bags’ main strap from seatbelt webbing. This is the toughest material for that extreme use. We work with polyamide and polyester webbings on the other parts of the bags, depending on which is the best choice for that type of use.

Buckles, velcros, etc.:

We use Duraflex® buckles, for the strength and quality they offer. Our velcros are from YKK®, we use their Cosmolon© velcros. Our standard zippers are also from YKK, and we use a water repellent type of zipper from Wico.
